I was hoping the opium would dominate this, and that the vanilla would lean dark and seductive, rather than gourmand. This is the fattest, most buttery, most decadent gourmand vanilla I've yet encountered! Out of the bottle I was sure it was going to be too cloying for me, but the sweetness relaxes and thins a bit quickly after application. Not quite what I was hoping for (I am DYING for a strong realistic opium EDP, help!), but a well-crafted scent nevertheless!

Really loving this one! I don’t know much about Grace other than a few Jefferson Airplane songs but now I want to check out more of her music too :)

All of my samples came in perfect condition and the 4 extra scent pads were a nice touch. This is the first one I've tried and I'd say 'powerful' and 'enticing' are both apt descriptions for the fragrance; I got hooked just from my first whiff. The vanilla at first is strong but as it settles on your skin it mellows into a warm, spicy scent with a faint floral/musky quality that softens it. Definitely works as a unisex scent. Also, I want to add that I'm incredibly appreciative that the carrier oil used for the roll-on samples doesn't seem to be coconut-based (or at least not enough to cause a reaction), as I have a mild coconut allergy & it's pretty much impossible to fully avoid it. I like knowing that this is a shop I won't have to worry about.
